Links

I said I'd post it, and here it is.
You can play it here:

Or you can play it here!

I hope you all enjoy!

Tweaks and more tweaks

Fruit Explosion has been simplified. But at the same time, it's a bit more complicated.
It now only has 1 level, that can be repeated ad nosium.

You can play it on the game salad arcade (I'll link once it's properly uploaded) and I'll also embed it to my blog once it's up.

So, the rules are simple, you click the fruit to gain time and points. Rotten fruit will DECREASE your time and points, and bombs are instant loss.
However, if you happen to catch a star (they disappear very fast) you'll remove all the bad items, and all you'll have left are tasty fruit.

I hope you all enjoy! Feel free to leave comments, and don't forget to tell your friends!

Working out the kinks

The current version of fruit explosion still has some bugs to work out.

For starters level 3 won't load. And on level 2 the bombs stop moving, and get stuck in the corner under the ramp.
I neglected to implement the star system, or even add the stars in the first place... and the music volume is much to high and needs to be lowered.
Also, the sound effect for touching a rotten fruit is the same as a good fruit, which is just plain confusing.
I'm not sure if there are many more mistakes, I'm sure there are, but this is my first major attempt.

I've also noticed some issues with cross platform usage.. things that work on the mac seem to have issues on a pc, I'm not sure if that's because of something that I'm doing wrong, of if it's just because the two platforms have different system requirements.

If anyone has any insight as to why this might be happening, I'd be grateful for the comments.

Also, any questions, queries, comments, concerns or suggestions are also appreciated.

Bermuda (working title)

Get lost in the Bermuda triangle in this fun filled simulation game.
You can farm, mingle, and fight.

You were on your way to start a new life when your Plane got sucked into the Bermuda Triangle.
The magnetic field around the triangle only dissipates every three years, allowing things in, or out, unfortunately your plane got caught in it, and now you're stuck on this island for three years.
Will you leave when the time is up, or decided to forge your new life here?

Just getting started

I've tried to produce games using products such as Gamemaker 8.1, but to no avail. They're overly complicated, and if you want to produce anything worth while you need to know coding.. which is not my forte.

Besides, if you want to produce iApps, which is my goal, you need to use a mac, the programs required to create apps are mac only.. of course Apple wants to dominate the market, I mean, it's their product you want to make games for, but it's still pretty lame.

So, a few days ago I got a Mac book Air, downloaded Gamesalad, and buckled down to start some work.
It's been pretty slow so far, just trying to figure out the program, mostly. I've got a few ideas (though I won't mention them here) and hopefully I'll have something workable to show for it.
